Description:
The Application Developer will be responsible for all aspects of the Client-Sever and for .NET build and installation processes, including configuration management. The successful candidate will work closely with Development, Quality Assurance, Support and Management to ensure that code is managed and deployed in a coherent, repeatable, and efficient manner, building and using tools to monitor and improve the quality and stability of our builds and installations. It is expected that once the deployment processes are stabilized, the candidate will devote free time to work on various development projects.

Essential Functions:
* Using Install Shield software to build clients installation programs.
* Own all aspects of the deployment and configuration strategy.
* Develop efficient policies, protocols, and standards to deploy code to customers.
* Create framework to maintain automated builds of our product suite.
* Build software version releases, patches, and maintenance releases for delivery
* Troubleshoot customer installation issues.
* Plan, document, and enforce our build and release process.
* Software development as time permits.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Position Qualifications:
* BS Degree (preferably in Computer Science or related field)
* Some experience writing computer software
* Must be detailed-oriented, professional, and a self-starter
* Experience with either MS SQL Server or Oracle databases
* Experience using bug tracking tools and practices
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with the Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework a plus
